Originally announced as the Reimagined Chicago, the Air Jordan 1 Lost & Found pays homage to mom and pop shops. Arguably the most famous Jordan 1 colorway, now takes on a more than normal retro inspired look.

While we have seen a few versions of the Chicago Jordan 1 drop in past years, the Lost & Found is aged to resemble a dead stock shoe from 1985. With it’s distressed look including cracks in the Upper, toe box, collars, and soles. Although the build actually closer resembles the 1994 release going by the overall shape and bigger Swooshes.

This release takes the most iconic colorway from the Jordan 1 silhouette, and aged it to perfection. Appearing like it’s a pair of DS Jordan’s that got lost in an old Mom & Pop Shop, sat untouched in the box all these years. It shows the paper inside, which consists of vintage ads, and would of aged the white midsole over time. The leather, also aged would still be in good condition, but a little rough around the edges. Even the packaging has a story to tell, with aged look, scuffs, and discoloration. The box even features a distressed lid from the AJKO. One thing’s for sure, Jordan Brand knows how to market by story telling. Even though this colorway is already a classic, the story gives you another reason to want to buy it.
