FILA Pays Homage To 2Pac Launching 2 New Grant Hill 2 Low Colorways

In 1996, Tupac released his debut double-disc album, “All Eyez on Me,” which would go on to sell millions of copies, just as Grant Hill was becoming a household figure in the NBA. The picture of 2Pac sitting on the ground dressed entirely in denim was one of the more recognizable pictures from the album cover booklet, with him wearing the FILA Grant Hill 2 while flashing the West Side emblem.

The Grant Hill 2 Low is now available in two colorways in honor of that occasion. This was made possible due to a collaboration between FILA and the Tupac Shakur estate. The Estate had this to say about the teaming up with FILA. “The Shakur Estate is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to celebrate Tupac’s love of fashion by collaborating with one of his personal favorites – FILA, Committed to being as authentic as possible, the exclusive FILA x 2PAC collection is inspired by items from Tupac’s own closet. We appreciate FILA and their intention to honor Tupac in this way.

The FILA Grant Hill 2 Low is available in two colorways in this set, one in the classic white/navy, and the other in a white/brown finish. The white/brown pair has Tupac logo on the heel strap in old English script, while both have 2Pac co-branding and a paisley bandana print on the insole. The brown pair, which also comes with dust bags and limited-edition boxes, bears Tupac’s signature on the side of the heel. The 2Pac x FILA Grant Hill 2 Low models are now offered on FILA.com. Each item will come with a $198 retail. Check out official images below.
