The adiFOM Q has become one of the most controversial sneakers for the three-stripes brand since the first images leaked. While adidas claims these were inspired by a 2001 adidas Quake sneaker, Ye didn’t see it that way. With the recent leak of a sample 700 in a foam build that has been worked on all of 2022 during Ye’s tenure. It looks more like Ye was speaking some truth.

One thing is certain adidas’ new foam sneaker is gearing up for more colorways to launch. The adiFOM Q is a different take on the foam trend, featuring a foam outer shell and midsole. They each come with an inner bootie system, laces, and a more sneaker-like outsole. Making them actual sneakers instead of clogs, like most foam footwear is modeled after.
For this upcoming launch, the official name has been changed to the COS fomQuake as part of their “Cosmic way Runners” Collection with the colorways Blue Rush and Craft Ochre featuring a mix of colors this time around. If this model is for you, after getting multiple pairs you could even interchange the inner parts to make more colorway combinations.
