Collaborations have been very popular in the sneaker industry, and this has been Jordan Brand’s plan for generating interest in the Jordan 2. AJ2’s legacy has been carried on this year through several collaborations. J Balvin, A Ma Maniére, Maison Château Rouge, and others all contributed to making their versions of the model. Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore developed the unique design for the Air Jordan 2, first made available in 1986.

The Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” is constructed to the exact specifications as the original. They feature leather with faux iguana skin panels. The upper is white with black and varsity red accents at the heel. At the top of the heel, Nike branding is visible in varsity red, but no swoosh is present anywhere. On the white tongue, the Air Jordan Wings emblem is attached in red, while the black trim matches the sock liner.
The midsole features a smooth black finish contrasting the upper. At the same time, the outsole comes in OG form in black, with more varsity red and white accents. Other details include flat laces in black, and the sneakers come packaged in the Air Jordan 2 ‘Wings’ box.
