Nike and Lebron James are bringing back one of his rarest PEs ever. Initially made to commemorate the model’s 10th anniversary in 2014. These sneakers have rarely been seen since, except in a select few sneaker collections over the years.

The Nike LeBron 2 “Animal” will return in 2023 for its first public release. The colorway get it’s design inspiration wild animals. The upper made from faux furs includes overlays in tiger and cheetahs patterns. While at the same time, the base comes in a zebra motif.
Red accents sit throughout the upper, highlighting the Swoosh and LeBron branding. The Lebron 2 also includes a removable ankle strap for a locked-down fit. A Swoosh and LeBron’s logo are so embroidered on each strap and are mirrored between each sneaker.

The midsole is made with a Pebax shell cage in a light bone finish and houses Zoom Air for cushioning. They will feature a unit in both the forefoot and heel. Other details include red round laces and extra padding in the black sock liner, adding comfort.
When Will TheNike LeBron 2 “Animal” Release?
Look for these to launch in Fall 2023 via the SNKRS app and select Nike retailers globally. The retail is $250 and will be a men’s size release. Stay tuned for more updates on these and all sneakers from our social media channels below, and check out some more photos of these.
