Nike unveiled Ja Morant’s first signature shoe on Christmas Day, which led to mixed reviews via social media.
Morant has led the Memphis Grizzlies to be top contenders in the western conference. Nike Basketball calls Ja Morant its first “Gen-Z athlete and joins the exclusive list of Nike Basketball players with signature sneakers, although he signed with them in 2019.
Several colorways including will be made available by Nike. Each shoe will have Ja Morant’s distinctive branding on the heel cup and different narratives for some of the upcoming releases. They come complete with Air Zoom technology. The release will start in April and will continue through 2023
