Eva foam has been all the craze in footwear in the past few years. From Yeezy Slides to Foam RNR, more brands are taking the EVA foam for all kinds of footwear. Nike is joining that club with their newest Calm Slide.
Similar to the Yeezy Slide, the Nike Calm Slide features a one-piece injection foam build. The Slides include the Roof of the slide, footbed, and outsole molded together. Unlike the Yeezy slide, the outsoles are more detailed, resembling an Air-Force 1 sneaker. A swoosh sits atop the ridged footbed, along with a swoosh on the lateral side.
Expected to launch this Fall, there will be five colorways dropping. The slides include three unisex colorways and then one men’s and women’s colorway each. The unisex colors will be Black, Sail, and Sesame. Geode Teal is set for the men’s colorway, while Jade Ice color will be for women sizing. All colors will retail for $50, which is actually cheaper than some recent Eva slides that have been on the market.
